Since 1944 Bruno Balducci s.r.l. has produced a wide range of machines and systems for the aspiration and filtration of dust, the filtration of oil mists, pneumatic transport and the abatement of gases, with particular attention to the filtration of potentially explosive dust (ATEX regulations).

Many companies like to present themselves with a series of impressive numbers. We have one, which for us is the best business card imaginable:

The know-how and experience gained have made us a leading company in the supply of turnkey systems: we distinguish ourselves both for the expertise in carrying out complex interventions and the ability to follow the client even when new production or technological needs arise, and in small-scale works.

Production of components and centralized industrial aspiration and filtration systems for fumes, gases, odors and dusts.

What are industrial aspiration systems?

Industrial aspiration systems are systems capable of aspirating the fumes, gases and dusts that are formed during the processing and production processes of various industries, conveying them to a filtering apparatus, and expelling clean air flows as established by current emission regulations.

Where are the systems installed?
industrial aspiration and
dust removal

Centralized aspiration systems for dust and fumes are necessary in all those industries where the normal production process generates fumes, gases, odors and dusts that must not spread.

Depending on the particular nature of such pollutants to be aspirated, itmay be necessary in specific cases to comply withtheexplosion-proof regulations ATEX 2014/34/EU, where dusts or gases themselves are potentially explosive. Similarly, the specific type of filter used in thethecentralized aspiration system will depend on the type of work carried out, and therefore on the type of polluting fumes, gases, odors and dusts to be removed from the system itself. The dimensions of the production environment, and its structure, also play a fundamental role in the design of the dust removal and abatement system, which is always custom-designed.

Among the sectors in which the characteristics of production and legal regulations make it necessary totheinstall industrial aspiration systems, we can list, by way of example:

  • the wood and marble industries, the metalworking industry, for the aspiration of fumes, dusts and oils, both whole and emulsified, deriving from operations such as welding, deburring, grinding, polishing, laser cutting, plasma cutting, cleaning and grinding, shot blasting, tumbling, sandblasting

  • The steel and iron industry, for melting and holding furnaces for metals, in stamping plants and welding stations, for the aspiration of toxic gases and fumes

  • The chemical and plastics industries, for the aspiration of dusts, fumes and solvent vapors/odors

  • In the food and beverage industry for the aspiration of oils, fumes and dusts from flours, sugars, aromas, and various ingredients.

  • In the pharmaceutical industry, for the dust removal of fumes, dusts and odors in the processing of ingredients and active principles.

The advantages of the systems of
aspiration for fumes and dusts

There are many reasons why installing a centralized industrial aspiration system in your company is important. Among the most significant is certainly compliance with laws on polluting emissions and environmental protection, a topic that is increasingly important and emphasized in recent years; but beyond the regulatory obligation, there are excellent reasons for installing dust and fume aspiration systems in industries, which can be grouped into three different orders of advantages.

Advantages for
health

Fumes, gases, odors and dusts, and generally pollutants that develop in the workplace, risk being inhaled by those who work there, and can be causes of serious illnesses and disorders. The reduction of fine dust is a procedure that protects the well-being and lives of workers.

Advantages
organizational

If not regularly removed and collected by a special system, fumes and dusts spread throughout the available space within the work environment, creating risks for machinery and therefore requiring continuous, costly cleaning operations that take time away from work activities. Centralized dust aspiration allows for the removal of dust without resorting to continuous cleaning of the environment.

Advantages
economic

In many production areas, the dust suspended in the air consists of recoverable materials that would normally be wasted. With the use of a centralized aspiration system, raw material dust can be recovered and reintroduced into the production cycle, with significant savings – as in companies where polymerization processes are carried out.

Maintenance of industrial aspiration and dust removal systems

Maintenance of systems of centralized aspiration, but also for trolley-mounted units, is an operation that is often underestimated, yet plays a fundamental role in the process of dust removal and abatement of pollutants in industrial settings.
On the one hand, periodic maintenance of industrial aspiration systems is an obligation, regulated by precise rules, and entrusting it to a specialized company is therefore the best way to avoid violations of the law and consequent sanctions, both administratively and criminally. But beyond this reason there are other and perhaps more important reasons to ensure professional and regular maintenance of your dust removal system. Periodic checks of the system, in fact, involve all its parts. This allows for the timely detection of faults and malfunctions, as well as ensuring the prompt repair – or preventive replacement – of all those parts and components of the centralized aspiration system that have been normally consumed and worn out due to constant use. Such simple operations guarantee the full efficiency of the ventilation and dust removal system, and ultimately extend the useful life of the fume and dust aspiration system as a whole. The remote control device, EmissioniOK!, optional in all our systems, but also installable in existing ones, guarantees a better life cycle of the systems and is part of Industry 4.0.
